Romans 1:12 NLT
When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.
Who can’t use a little encouraging?
As we walk in our Christian faith, when we get into the church, we will have those who come around us who are very encouraging. They welcome us into the church.
They encourage us to join the Life Groups; they encourage us to get involved in ministry. They encourage us to read our Bibles and come to Bible study.
Here’s one thing that I would say about this, if this hasn’t happened to you, you might want to get to another church. Or, if you have been going to church for a while, it may be time to start encouraging those around you.
As we allow Jesus to move in our lives and change us, the desire to encourage others should become a by-product of living out our faith.
Hebrews 12:1 NLT
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.
When we surround ourselves with those in faith, we can help each other work through the things that hold us back, which is the sin in our lives.
As we grow spiritually, I believe that we will start to be more encouraging the more that we are in God’s Word and in pray.
I am blessed to have some very encouraging people in my life.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the encouraging people that You have put in my life.
I pray that Your Word will affect my heart and help to be encouraging to those around me.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen!! 🙏❤️
