COL.3.2_NIV

Let God’s Word Fill Your Mind, Heart, And Soul. And Your Actions Will Follow!

Colossians 3:16 NLT
Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.

**SPECIAL NOTE: I have been sharing my thoughts on scripture pretty regularly over the past three months, mainly due to the times we find ourselves in. I have shared them here in the Bible app, and I post the same notes on Facebook.

About a month ago, my Facebook profile started to be hacked. I caught it early, but they were able to change my profile picture to a strange symbol. I have locked it down, but I still get notices that people are trying to sign into my account all over the country.

UPDATE: This isn’t happening anymore, but this blog gets malicious attacks; fortunately I have protection against that.

At first, it scared me, and I started to think to myself, why is this happening to me?

And then I realized that maybe my message is not what they want to be going out. And I started to pray for the people that are trying to sign in to my account. And I pray that they get to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

I am making a special request today of my brothers and sister in Christ, reading this message.

Please “Like,” “Comment,” Amen!! and “Share” this post with your friends.

We need to get the Good News of Jesus Christ out as far and wide as we can; this world needs the Gospel more now than ever, and it is the only thing that will save us!

If we are not friends on Facebook, this is a link to my profile, send me a friend request. https://www.facebook.com/lifetosuccess

“Let the message of about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives.”

Living and understanding who we are in light of Jesus Christ always come with an intentional effort on our end.

If we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, this all came by God’s hand. He’s chosen us. He’s has aligned and orchestrated everything in our lives, with the result being that we say “YES” to Jesus Christ.

The great news is that we didn’t have to live up to an impossible standard to achieve this.

Romans 5:6-11 NLT
When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.

But as my Pastor says, “He loved us enough to die for us on the cross as we are, but He loves us too much to leave us there.”

For us as Christians, we are called to live a life that glorifies God. By living this life glorified in Jesus, we will start to attract other people chosen by God.

And the only way that we can effectively do this is by reading and meditating on the Word of God.

We are letting it affect our lives, allowing it to change our hearts, making it change how we live in the presence of others.

1 Corinthians 9:27 NLT
I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.

Joshua 1:8-9 NLT
Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

Study and meditate, day and night, so you will be sure to OBEY everything written in it.

Christian, if you have not made it a habit to be reading and meditating on the Word of God DAILY. Please get on your knees and beg God to give you that desire today!

Heavenly Father, I know that nothing will stop what You look to accomplish. I pray that You use me to that end.

I pray that my life glorifies You in every way and that I discipline myself not to disqualify my witness in the name of Jesus Christ.

I pray for strength and courage to stand firm in the face of persecution. I know that the time is drawing near, and I pray that You continue to give me the desire to serve those around me to the best of my ability, in Your Name.

I thank You for the people in my life, and I pray for their souls and that they get to know of Your love and saving grace.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen!! 🙏❤️
