Acts 22:1-2 NLT
“Brothers and esteemed fathers,” Paul said, “listen to me as I offer my defense.” When they heard him speaking in their own language, the silence was even greater.
Basically, what Paul is saying here is, “I have people who are witness to these events.”
Can I say this?
Do I have people who can say, “I knew John Clark before he proclaimed to be a Christian. WOW, what a difference God has made in his life…”
If these words can not be uttered about me, I need to get on my knees and beg God to help me.
If there is a disconnect between what I claim with my life and the reality of my thoughts, attitudes, and actions, this can become a serious barrier to bringing others to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
Furthermore, if I expect more from others than I expect from myself, I can actually turn people away from God.
Heavenly Father, keep me in Your will.
Help me to live my life in a way that glorifies You in every way.
Let me words, attitudes and actions line up with Your faithful and merciful saving grace.
In the Holy and loving name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen !! 🙏❤️
