John 14:21 NLT
Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.”
Do you feel separated from God sometimes?
Are there things happening in your life that you don’t understand? And think to yourself, “How can a good God let this happen?”
When we consider our spiritual well being on our circumstances, most of the time, we measure it against whether things are going well in our lives against whether they are going bad.
Ultimately, it will be the trials we face that will shape us into the image of Jesus Christ. Our most significant growth will come out of our valley experiences, not our mountain top experiences.
James 1:2-4 NLT
Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
“Consider it an opportunity for great joy.”
The way we look at our challenges will make a difference in how we come out of them.
When we resist the challenge, we could be making it last longer than it should last.
God uses these trials and challenges to change us. To change the way we look at a particular situation or change a behavior that is not serving Him.
These trials are put there for us to lean on God. When we can do everything in our power, we don’t give God any room to show up. And He will provide us the opportunity to let Him in if we recognize the situation for what it is and remain open to learning the lessons that He wants us to learn.
And once we get it, our capacity grows, and we grow closer to God.
When we obey God’s Word and stay faithful to what is written in it, He will reveal more to us.
Heavenly Father, please give me the courage and strength to face my challenges with You center in my heart.
Allow me to learn the lessons I need to learn to grow closer to You.
I thank You for Your sacrifice, and I pray that You provide me with that same spirit when I look at others.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen!! 🙏❤️
