Jesus Wept: The Compassion of the Son of God (John 11:28–37)
The shortest verse in the Bible contains one of the deepest revelations of God’s heart. Before raising Lazarus, Jesus enters fully into the grief of Mary and those mourning with her. His tears reveal that the Son of God does not remain distant from human suffering—He enters into it.
