Philippians 1:11 NLT
May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ— for this will bring much glory and praise to God.
WOW… The definitive nature of the Word of God is fascinating to me.
“Always,” “Never stop,” “in all circumstances” in the following example.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NLT
Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
In the verse that caught my attention today, it says, “May you ALWAYS be filled with the fruit of your salvation.”
Is it possible to always be filled with the fruit of salvation?
Galatians 5:22-23 NLT
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
It is if Jesus Christ is the center of your heart.
When we read further into the verse, it says, “the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ.”
John 1:1-4 NLT
In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.
The most critical thing that we can do as believers and followers of Jesus Christ is to consistently study the Word of God. If this is not happening, our lives as a Christian will be marked with frustration.
But when we make the study of God’s Word a priority in our daily life and read it with the proper intention, it will shape our minds and start to guide our actions.
Joshua 1:8 NLT
Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.
We measure our lives against the fruit of the Spirit. When we find one that is not present or that we are struggling with, we bring this to God and ask Him to work with us to reveal the thinking stopping this fruit from being present in us.
We want to think that this is a one and done type of thing, but this will continue until Jesus comes to take His church or He calls us home to be with Him.
James 1:3-4 NLT
For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
Our calling is to endure.
Heavenly Father, I come to humbly, sometimes confused and unclear, but Your Word makes it clear when I lay down my presumptions, and I submit to Your Will.
I pray that my thoughts, attitudes, and actions will glorify You.
I thank You for Your sacrifice. I thank You for Your mercy and forgiveness.
In the name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, I humbly lay my life down before You, Amen!! 🙏❤️
