Acts 9:26 NLT
When Saul arrived in Jerusalem, he tried to meet with the believers, but they were all afraid of him. They did not believe he had truly become a believer!
When Jesus enters our lives, we will have a lot of skeptical people around us. This is natural and normal.
This could also be a stumbling block if we are more focused on wanting others to see us differently instead of letting the Word of God continue to change us.
Matthew 6:33 NLT
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
Our focus should be on the change in our lives, leaving the rest in the hands of God.
With the passing of time and continuous change in our lives, this will be the proof necessary to change the hearts of those that God chooses to change.
“The Lord’s slave must not quarrel, but must be gentle to everyone, able to teach, and patient, instructing his opponents with gentleness. Perhaps God will grant them repentance leading them to the knowledge of the truth. Then they may come to their senses and escape the Devil’s trap, having been captured by him to do his will.” 2 Timothy 2:24-26 HCSB
