1 Peter 3:8 NLT
Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…be of one mind.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can I listen long enough to let someone come to their own biblical conclusion?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The more I study, the quicker the Spirit seems to bring me the wisdom to overcome the challenges and trials I face. Furthermore, I find that the frequency of these challenges starts to diminish in my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Occasionally, the challenge will emerge again, and I find that when I lean on the Spirit, the challenge quickly dissipates. I believe that this is God\u2019s way of testing to make sure that \u201cI\u2019ve got it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The question is…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When another believer comes to me and expresses concern in that area, can I listen long enough for them to come to the Spiritual solution, or am I quick to give them \u201cmy answer\u201d?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And can I hold out long enough with a \u201chumble\u201d spirit without that slight air of superiority until they GET it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lasting change in others will never take place until the light of the Spirit is put on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other person may make a temporary behavior change to pacify me. Still, unless it is of the Spirit, it will only end up in rebellion, and they will return to the old behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But when that light of the Spirit goes on, it will be a change by the hand of God and will never be reversed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will be \u201ctheirs\u201d not \u201cmine,\u201d and it will be God\u2019s, not mine. I am simply the conduit to assist in bringing them to God through His Word. And what happens by God can never be changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NLT
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBe tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heavenly Father, I pray that You help keep my heart \u201ctender\u201d and my attitude \u201chumble\u201d before You and the people You put before me, always with the Light of Your Spirit center in my heart, always seeking to glorify You and to give You all the credit of the change that may take place in the hearts of others due to Your light shining in me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
