And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind\u2026\u201d<\/em> \u2014 Romans 12:1\u20132 (NASB)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">In a world that feels more divided by the day, it\u2019s natural to ask:&nbsp;<strong>What is shaping your life?<\/strong>&nbsp;Is it the noise of the world\u2014or the voice of God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">As believers, we are called to be transformed, not conformed. And yet, even within Christian circles, the lines are getting blurred. The world is loud. And sadly, that noise often seeps into the Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-real-battle-isn-t-what-you-see\"><strong>The Real Battle Isn\u2019t What You See<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">There\u2019s a growing call in some Christian communities\u2014often framed as a call to arms or \u201cChristian manhood.\u201d But who is the enemy?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"\"><strong><em>\u201cFor our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but\u2026 against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly place<\/em>s. \u2014 Ephesians 6:12<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">We must not forget:&nbsp;<strong>our battle is spiritual.<\/strong>&nbsp;The enemy isn\u2019t the person on your screen, your social media feed, or the other side of a theological debate. It\u2019s the unseen forces working to distract, divide, and destroy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The world wants us to argue, to take sides, and to tear down others\u2014yes, even within the Body of Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-s-really-shaping-your-mind\"><strong>What\u2019s Really Shaping Your Mind?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">We live in a culture that critiques before it teaches. One trend that saddens me is the rise of content focused on tearing down others for popularity. While false teaching should be corrected, many now chase views over truth. One YouTuber even admitted he doesn\u2019t create Bible-teaching videos because \u201cno one watches those.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The result?&nbsp;<strong>Division over devotion. Popularity over purpose.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"\"><strong><em>\u201cDo not be conformed to this world\u2026\u201d<\/em> \u2014 Romans 12:2<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">As Christians, we must be careful not to be shaped by the patterns of this world\u2014comparison, criticism, and contention. Instead, the fundamental transformation happens when we let God renew our minds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-focus-on-what-truly-matters\"><strong>Focus on What Truly Matters<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">It\u2019s easier to point fingers than to deal with our own sin. It feels more comfortable to call out others than to surrender our desires. But the real battleground? It\u2019s the&nbsp;<strong>six inches between our ears<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">When we submit ourselves fully to God\u2014our habits, thoughts, motives\u2014we become that&nbsp;<strong>living sacrifice<\/strong>&nbsp;He calls us to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-right-response-to-others\"><strong>The Right Response to Others<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"\"><strong><em>\u201cThe Lord\u2019s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all\u2026\u201d<\/em> \u2014 2 Timothy 2:24\u201326<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Whether we\u2019re dealing with&nbsp;<strong>unbelievers<\/strong>&nbsp;or fellow&nbsp;<strong>believers<\/strong>, Scripture tells us how to respond:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Not quarrelsome<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 You don\u2019t have to win the argument to win a soul.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Kind<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Speak truth in love.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Skilled in teaching<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Know the Word before you teach the Word.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Patient when wronged<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Let Christ defend your cause.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Gentle in correction<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Gentleness is power under control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">And we must remember:&nbsp;<strong>only God grants repentance.<\/strong>&nbsp;Our role is to reflect Christ and walk in the Spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-live-by-the-spirit-not-by-the-flesh\"><strong>Live by the Spirit, Not by the Flesh<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"\"><strong><em>\u201cBut the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control\u2026<\/em>&#8221; \u2014 Galatians 5:22\u201323<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">When we walk in the Spirit, we don\u2019t need to manufacture holiness\u2014it overflows naturally. It becomes visible. Tangible. Contagious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Let that be what shapes your life\u2014not the world\u2019s opinions or the fear-driven narratives on social media, but the&nbsp;<strong>fruit of a life surrendered to Christ.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-a-prayer-to-be-shaped-by-god-not-the-world\"><strong>A Prayer to Be Shaped by God, Not the World<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Heavenly Father,<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"\">Thank You for Your grace, mercy, and endless patience.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"\">Help us renew our minds daily through Your Word.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"\">Let our lives reflect Your glory, not the arguments of the world.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"\">Shape us by the Spirit, not the flesh.
