Not every voice that sounds spiritual is of God. Not every platform preaching \u201chope\u201d is grounded in truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Some will deceive deliberately. Others are simply blind guides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-who-is-jesus-speaking-to\"><strong>Who Is Jesus Speaking To?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Jesus continues to address His disciples and the broader crowd. But now, He\u2019s\u00a0<strong>equipping them with discernment<\/strong>. He is saying:\u00a0<em>Not everyone who looks holy is helpful. Not everyone who sounds right is righteous.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-jesus-said-matthew-7-15-20-nasb\"><strong>What Jesus Said: Matthew 7:15\u201320 (NASB)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"\"><strong>15\u00a0\u201cBeware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep\u2019s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16\u00a0You will know them by their fruits.Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they? 17\u00a0So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. 18\u00a0A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19\u00a0Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20\u00a0So then, you will know them by their fruits.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-false-prophets-in-sheep-s-clothing\"><strong>False Prophets in Sheep\u2019s Clothing<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Jesus paints a disturbing picture: wolves dressed as sheep. That\u2019s not a harmless mistake\u2014it\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>intentional deception<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">False prophets:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Sound spiritual<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Look trustworthy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Know how to quote Scripture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">But lead people\u00a0<strong>away from the truth<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">They don\u2019t destroy through violence\u2014they&nbsp;<strong>dismantle through manipulation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><em><strong>Action Step:<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Don\u2019t follow someone just because they have a big platform. Investigate their fruit, not just their followers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-fruit-always-reveals-the-root\"><strong>Fruit Always Reveals the Root<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Jesus gives us a simple, universal test:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Good trees produce good fruit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Bad trees can\u2019t hide forever\u2014what\u2019s inside will show.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">In 2025, fruit might not be flashy\u2014it might look like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Humility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Integrity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Consistent truth in teaching<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Repentance and accountability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><em><strong>Action Step:<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Check the\u00a0<strong>long-term pattern<\/strong>\u00a0of someone\u2019s life or ministry. Does it reflect Jesus or just charisma?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-mood-of-the-scene\"><strong>Mood of the Scene<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Protective. Serious. Loving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Jesus isn\u2019t fearmongering. He\u2019s being&nbsp;<strong>a Good Shepherd<\/strong>\u2014warning His sheep because He loves them deeply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">This is Jesus saying:&nbsp;<em>\u201cDon\u2019t be naive. Learn to test what\u2019s real.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-response-from-the-people\"><strong>Response from the People<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Some probably realized they had&nbsp;<strong>followed voices<\/strong>&nbsp;that were more exciting than godly. Others might have recalled religious leaders who&nbsp;<strong>exploited their authority<\/strong>. This teaching would have raised eyebrows and opened eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-this-means-for-us-in-2025\"><strong>What This Means for Us in 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">In our digital age:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Anyone can look spiritual.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Anyone can start a ministry online.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Anyone can go viral for \u201cChristian\u201d content.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">But Jesus reminds us:&nbsp;<strong>Fruit takes time to grow.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">You can\u2019t fake it forever. You can\u2019t hide what you really are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">And neither can we.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-application-for-today\"><strong>Application for Today:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Audit who you listen to\u2014are they pointing you to Scripture or just themselves?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Consider a teacher\u2019s personal life, not just their public platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Ask: \u201cDo they practice what they preach?\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Refuse to be impressed by flash without faith.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Most importantly\u2014<strong>check your own fruit.<\/strong>\u00a0Are you becoming more like Christ?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-final-prayer\"><strong>Final Prayer<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Lord Jesus, open my eyes to what is real. Help me not be swayed by charisma or popularity. Teach me to test the fruit of those I listen to\u2014and the fruit of my own life. Make me rooted in truth and filled with Your Spirit.
