Referencing Daniel, He prepares His followers for a moment of great danger marked by the abomination of desolation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-matthew-24-15-22-nasb-2020\">Matthew 24:15\u201322 (NASB 2020)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"\"><strong>15\u00a0\u201cTherefore, when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16\u00a0then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. 17\u00a0Whoever is on the housetop must not go down to get things out of his house. 18\u00a0And whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his cloak. 19\u00a0But woe to those women who are pregnant, and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20\u00a0Moreover, pray that when you flee, it will not be in the winter, or on a Sabbath. 21\u00a0For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will again. 22\u00a0And if those days had not been cut short, no life would have been saved;
