It was during Jesus&#8217;s time in the Garden of Gethsemane that He expressed deep sorrow.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">He took His closest disciples with Him for support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">He expressed sorrow and distress, even to the point of death<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">He prayed&nbsp;<strong>three times<\/strong>, wrestling with the Father\u2019s will<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">The disciples fell asleep repeatedly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Jesus rebuked them gently and surrendered fully to God&#8217;s plan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-mood-intense-isolated-sacred\">The Mood: Intense, Isolated, Sacred<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Jesus was in emotional anguish and spiritual warfare<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">The disciples were physically exhausted and unaware<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">The moment was sacred and weighty, with heaven and hell watching<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-principle-surrender-is-the-pathway-to-power\">The Principle: Surrender is the Pathway to Power<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Jesus shows that even He had to wrestle before yielding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Prayer is not about getting our way, but getting God\u2019s strength to walk His way<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Absolute surrender often happens alone and in anguish<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-audience-response-then\">Audience Response (Then)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">The disciples didn\u2019t understand the magnitude of the moment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">They slept when they were supposed to watch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Jesus still loved them and included them in His journey<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-this-means-for-us-in-2025\">What This Means for Us in 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">We all face&nbsp;<strong>Gethsemane moments<\/strong>\u2014where the pressure is unbearable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">In those moments, we must choose to&nbsp;<strong>pray, not run<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">God is not offended by our struggle\u2014He\u2019s honored by our surrender<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-action-steps-for-today\">Action Steps for Today<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Bring your sorrow to God.<\/strong>&nbsp;Don\u2019t carry it alone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Invite others to pray with you.<\/strong>&nbsp;Even if they fall short<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Stay awake spiritually.<\/strong>&nbsp;Don\u2019t sleep through sacred moments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Pray through the pain.<\/strong>&nbsp;Even if it\u2019s the same prayer three times<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Surrender to God\u2019s will.<\/strong>&nbsp;Power comes through yielded hearts<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-final-prayer\">Final Prayer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Father, in my moments of sorrow and uncertainty, help me to surrender as Jesus did. Give me the strength to say, &#8220;Your will be done.&#8221; Let me not sleep through divine moments, but rise in faith and courage.
