The location in Gentile territory also affirms the expanding reach of God\u2019s kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jesus reveals Himself again as compassionate provider<\/strong>\u2014but now in a region outside Israel. His concern isn\u2019t limited by geography or audience. His heart is moved by need and hunger<\/strong>, and He acts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In those days, there was again a large crowd, and they had nothing to eat. Jesus\u00a0summoned His disciples and said to them<\/em>, \u201cI feel compassion for the people, because they have remained with Me for three days already and have nothing to eat. If I send them away hungry to their homes, they will faint on the way; and some of them have come from a great distance.\u201d And His disciples replied to Him, \u201cWhere will anyone be able to find enough bread here in this desolate place to satisfy these people?\u201d And He was asking them, \u201cHow many loaves do you have?\u201d And they said, \u201cSeven.\u201d And He\u00a0directed the people to recline on the ground<\/em>; and taking the seven loaves, He gave thanks and broke them, and kept giving them to His disciples to serve, and they served them to the people. They also had a few small fish; and after He had blessed them, He told the disciples to serve these as well. And they ate and were satisfied; and they picked up seven large baskets full of what was left of the broken pieces. About four thousand men were there; and He dismissed them. And immediately He got into the boat with His disciples and came to the region of Dalmanutha.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Jesus interacts with His disciples<\/strong> and a Gentile crowd<\/strong> that had been with Him for days. He leads with compassion, then calls the disciples into the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Faced with thousands of hungry people, Jesus shares His concern with the disciples. Though their faith is still small, they obey. He gives thanks, breaks the food, and once again multiplies what\u2019s offered<\/strong>. Everyone eats. No one leaves hungry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The moment feels gentle, compassionate, and instructional<\/strong>. Jesus is calm, intentional, and patient\u2014not only with the people but also with His learning disciples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI feel compassion for the people…\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n \u201cHow many loaves do you have?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n These questions are invitations to trust<\/strong>. Jesus invites the disciples to see scarcity as the starting point of supernatural supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jesus multiplies what we give.
