{"id":4145,"date":"2026-08-24T06:30:00","date_gmt":"2026-08-24T10:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/standingfirminfaith.com\/blog\/?p=4145"},"modified":"2026-08-22T12:19:42","modified_gmt":"2026-08-22T16:19:42","slug":"no-one-can-come-unless-the-father-draws-him-john-6-41-51","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/standingfirminfaith.com\/blog\/no-one-can-come-unless-the-father-draws-him-john-6-41-51\/","title":{"rendered":"No One Can Come Unless the Father Draws Him: The Living Bread from Heaven (John 6:41\u201351)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 id=\"h-the-audience-john-is-writing-to\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Audience John Is Writing To<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">John deliberately slows the pace of the narrative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The miracle is over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The crowds have followed Jesus into the synagogue at Capernaum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now their excitement is beginning to turn into resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The turning point comes when Jesus says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;I am the bread that came down out of heaven.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The crowd cannot accept it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They know His earthly family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And they know His hometown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They believe they know His origins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How could someone they watched grow up claim to have come from heaven?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">John has already answered that question in chapter one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Word existed before creation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The crowd is evaluating Jesus according to appearances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">John invites us to evaluate Him in light of eternity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>John 6:41-51 NASB<br>Therefore the Jews were grumbling about Him, because He said, &#8220;I am the bread that came down out of heaven.&#8221; They were saying, &#8220;Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does He now say, &#8216;I have come down out of heaven&#8217;?&#8221; Jesus answered and said to them, &#8220;Do not grumble among yourselves. No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day. It is written in the prophets, &#8216;And THEY SHALL ALL BE taught OF GOD.&#8217; Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me. Not that anyone has seen the Father, except the One who is from God; He has seen the Father. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-key-focus-of-the-passage-and-jesus-character\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Focus of the Passage and Jesus&#8217; Character<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The focus is <strong>human unbelief, the Father&#8217;s gracious initiative in salvation, and Jesus as the Living Bread who gives eternal life through His sacrificial death.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus reveals Himself as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">the Living Bread,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">the One sent from heaven,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">the fulfillment of Isaiah&#8217;s promise,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">and the Savior who gives His flesh for the life of the world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This passage deepens everything Jesus has already taught concerning salvation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-the-people-in-the-interaction\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The People in the Interaction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Jesus<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">The Jewish crowd gathered in the synagogue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-what-happened-in-the-scene\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Happened in the Scene<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The crowd begins murmuring among themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They ask: <strong>&#8220;Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They cannot reconcile His ordinary appearance with His extraordinary claims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus responds: <strong>&#8220;Do not grumble among yourselves.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He explains: <strong>&#8220;No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then He promises once again: <strong>&#8220;I will raise him up on the last day.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quoting Isaiah, Jesus says: <strong>&#8220;They shall all be taught of God.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone who hears and learns from the Father comes to the Son.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus reminds them that no one has seen the Father except the One who came from God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then He repeats: <strong>&#8220;I am the Bread of Life.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unlike the manna, which sustained Israel only temporarily, Jesus offers life that never ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, He declares: <strong>&#8220;The bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the first time in the discourse, Jesus clearly points toward the Cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-the-deep-theology-of-the-living-bread\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Deep Theology of the Living Bread<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-they-began-to-grumble\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">They Began to Grumble<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">John intentionally uses a familiar word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The crowd <strong>grumbled<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This immediately recalls Israel in the wilderness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Again and again, the Israelites grumbled against Moses despite witnessing God&#8217;s miraculous provision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now another generation stands before One greater than Moses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Again they grumble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">John wants us to recognize the parallel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The human heart has not changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even when surrounded by God&#8217;s grace, unbelief continues finding reasons to complain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The issue has never been insufficient evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It has always been resistance to God&#8217;s revelation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">They Remembered Egypt Better Than It Really Was<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most revealing aspects of Israel&#8217;s wilderness grumbling is that they gradually rewrote their own history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Again and again they complained that life in Egypt had been better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They remembered the fish, cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions, and garlic (Numbers 11:5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They even suggested that slavery had been preferable to following God through the wilderness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What they conveniently forgot were the chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The forced labor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The beatings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The murder of their sons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hopelessness from which God had rescued them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sin has a remarkable ability to romanticize the past while minimizing the bondage that accompanied it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same spiritual danger appears in John 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The crowd speaks nostalgically about the manna in the wilderness while standing before the true Bread from Heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They admire God&#8217;s past provision but reject God&#8217;s present provision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How often do believers make the same mistake?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When life becomes difficult, we are tempted to remember the &#8220;good old days&#8221; while forgetting the emptiness, fear, or bondage from which God delivered us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ecclesiastes 7:10 NASB<br>Do not say, &#8220;Why is it that the former days were better than these?&#8221; For it is not from wisdom that you ask about this.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spiritual maturity remembers God&#8217;s faithfulness more than it romanticizes the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The wilderness generation looked backward instead of forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The crowd in John 6 looked backward instead of upward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In both cases, their grumbling revealed hearts that struggled to trust the God who was providing for them in the present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-we-know-his-family\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;We Know His Family&#8221;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The crowd assumes they know Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That assumption becomes their greatest obstacle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They know His earthly upbringing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They know Nazareth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And they know Mary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore, they conclude they know everything important about Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How tragic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Familiarity can become one of the greatest barriers to faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many people know facts about Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Few truly know Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The crowd mistakes information for understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">John reminds us that appearances never tell the whole story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-no-one-can-come\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;No One Can Come&#8221;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus now makes one of the strongest statements regarding humanity&#8217;s spiritual condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notice His wording.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He does not say: &#8220;Few people come.&#8221; Or: &#8220;Most people choose not to come.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He says: <strong>&#8220;No one can come.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The issue is ability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sin has affected humanity more deeply than we often realize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spiritually speaking, people do not naturally seek Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They naturally resist Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is not because God delights in withholding salvation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is because the human heart has become enslaved by sin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Gospel begins not with human strength but with divine grace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-unless-the-father-draws-him\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;Unless the Father Draws Him&#8221;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The word <strong>draws<\/strong> has generated centuries of discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout John&#8217;s Gospel, drawing is always God&#8217;s gracious initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This drawing is not mere persuasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Neither is it coercion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is the Father&#8217;s powerful work of bringing sinners to Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notice what Jesus immediately says afterward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone whom the Father teaches comes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">God&#8217;s drawing is personal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Transforming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Life-giving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just as Jesus called Lazarus from the tomb, the Father&#8217;s gracious work awakens spiritually dead hearts to respond willingly to the Son.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grace does not force unwilling people into God&#8217;s Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grace changes the heart so that Christ becomes beautiful rather than burdensome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-they-shall-all-be-taught-by-god\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;They Shall All Be Taught by God&#8221;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus quotes Isaiah 54:13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the New Covenant, God&#8217;s people would know Him personally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This teaching is not merely intellectual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is relational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Father teaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Son receives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Spirit illumines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Trinity is beautifully active in salvation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notice the result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone truly taught by the Father comes to Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Father&#8217;s work always leads people toward the Son.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any spirituality that bypasses Christ cannot come from the Father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-the-bread-of-life-repeated\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Bread of Life Repeated<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus again says: <strong>&#8220;I am the Bread of Life.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Repetition matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">John wants readers to remember this declaration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bread sustains life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Christ <strong>is<\/strong> life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bread must be received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Christ must be received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bread nourishes continually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Christ continually sustains His people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The metaphor becomes richer with every repetition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus is not one source of spiritual nourishment among many.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is the only Bread capable of sustaining eternal life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-the-manna-could-not-conquer-death\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Manna Could Not Conquer Death<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus contrasts Himself with the manna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Israel&#8217;s ancestors ate miraculous bread every morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yet every one of them eventually died.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The manna was extraordinary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But temporary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus provides something fundamentally different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The life He gives cannot be destroyed by death itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bread from Heaven accomplishes what earthly bread never could.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-the-living-bread\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;The Living Bread&#8221;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notice the progression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier Jesus called Himself:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bread of Life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now He says: <strong>&#8220;I am the Living Bread.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This bread is alive because its source is the living God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unlike manna, Christ continues giving life forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The miracle of the loaves anticipated temporary provision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Living Bread offers eternal communion with God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-my-flesh-for-the-life-of-the-world\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;My Flesh for the Life of the World&#8221;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This statement introduces a dramatic shift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus no longer speaks merely about coming from heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He now points toward giving His flesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Cross has entered the conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">John wants readers to begin connecting the Bread of Life with the sacrificial Lamb introduced in chapter one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bread who satisfies eternal hunger must first be broken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lamb who takes away sin must first be sacrificed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus&#8217; life becomes the nourishment of the world because He willingly gives Himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This statement prepares readers for the even more challenging teaching that follows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-the-father-s-grace-and-human-responsibility\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Father&#8217;s Grace and Human Responsibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notice how beautifully Jesus holds both truths together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Father draws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Father teaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-1-familiarity-can-become-a-barrier-to-faith\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Familiarity Can Become a Barrier to Faith<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Knowing facts about Jesus is not the same as knowing Him personally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-2-salvation-begins-with-god-s-initiative\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.
