\u201cDo not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

For the Christian, when we have put ourselves in a position of condemning or judging others for what they have done, in such a way that we stand in place of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Understand that I am not saying that we are to, blindly, accept the acts of someone else as right when they are wrong, but when we stand as judge, jury, and executioner, we are in a wrong spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This thinking is even more important when it comes to thinking this way with another believer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 John 4:7-8 NLT
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

1 Peter 4:8 NLT
Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

These verses are not suggestions, these verses are commanded by God’s Word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Satan has done an excellent job through the media pounding us with this message that others need to pay for what they have done, and it is up to us to make it happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The message is, “God is to slow to bring about the necessary justice that is called for.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Peter 3:9 NLT
The Lord isn\u2019t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

For us, those who call themselves Christians, we are to know better and to think differently about this. And it can not be dictated by how we “feel.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our “feelings” will leave us empty and disappointed all the time, but the promises of God will stand, and this is where our faith comes in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This thinking requires knowing, understanding, and meditating on God’s Word consistently, daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reading the Bible is not a one and done event. And doing it comes with a promise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joshua 1:8 NLT
Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The word “meditate” means to “chew” on. When we chew our food, our mouths, through God’s grand design, release, in our saliva, compounds that start breaking down the food, releasing the nutrients required to help us function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we “chew” on God’s Word, this “chewing” starts to take what we need to understand, from God’s Word, from our minds to our hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And when the Word of God gets to our hearts, our thoughts, attitudes, and actions start to change. And what we do begins to glorify God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We, as a society, are in a spot where we need more of God’s Word in our hearts instead of the garbage that we are fed every night on the evening news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christian, where are you with this?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christain, where are you putting your heart?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christian, is your focus on the things above, or is it on the things of this world?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your grace and mercy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please help us understand that You are not slow in Your justice and that You are only giving those who You have called more time to get to know You.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I pray, Lord, that You give us the desire and the wisdom to get to know You more and more through Your Word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please give us the discernment to use Your Word as You intended as a mirror for us to look in, to guide us, not use a sledgehammer to judge and condemn the world around us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
