Exodus 35:20-21 NLT
So the whole community of Israel left Moses and returned to their tents. All whose hearts were stirred and whose spirits were moved came and brought their sacred offerings to the LORD. They brought all the materials needed for the Tabernacle, for the performance of its rituals, and for the sacred garments.
“All whose hearts were stirred and whose spirits were moved came and brought…”
“…all whose hearts were willing.”
The more I dive into the Bible, the more I am starting to understand that with God, it is and has always been about our hearts position before God.
It starts with the “stirring” of our hearts, followed by the “moving” of our spirits and the result is a “willing” heart.
God doesn’t want our efforts unless our efforts are “willing” and this will only happen with a heart yielded to the Holy Spirit.
Willing efforts that pull us out of our comfort zones and call for us to rely on God only.
Actions motivated by our love and gratitude for what Jesus has done for us.
2 Corinthians 9:7-9 NLT
You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”
Heavenly Father, I pray that You keep my heart, willingly motivated to serve You in love and joy.
Help me keep my eyes focused on the goal, to be formed into the image of Christ. Serving others with a submitted heart, soul, body and mind.
I thank You for the opportunity to serve You and ask for the strength to glorify You in everything I think and do in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen!! 🙏❤️
