‘After Jesus left the girl’s home, two blind men followed along behind him, shouting, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” They went right into the house where he was staying, and Jesus asked them, “Do you believe I can make you see?” “Yes, Lord,” they told him, “we do.” Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.” Then their eyes were opened, and they could see! Jesus sternly warned them, “Don’t tell anyone about this.” But instead, they went out and spread his fame all over the region.’ Matthew 9:27-31
People touched and healed by the hand of Jesus Christ have the desire to let everyone around them know about this unearned grace.
They can’t contain it.
Is this the posture of my heart ❤️?
Do I have that unstoppable desire to let those around me know about my joy in knowing Jesus Christ as my Savior?
More important than the words from my mouth is my changed life. This will speak far more than the words I speak.
If my actions don’t reflect the words I speak, I actually do more harm to the gospel of Jesus Christ than good.
Heavenly Father, I pray for the ability, will and humility to live out my faith in front of everyone that I come in contact with. That when I turn and walk away from anyone, they can say, “That is a man that knows God and not only does he boldly proclaim the grace of Jesus Christ but he walks his talk.”
Thank you for your grace, mercy, and compassion, I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!! 🙏❤️
