Are You Ready to Stand Firm in Your Courageous Faith

‘Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are.’ 1 Peter 5:8-9

Satan will never take a break or vacation, he is always looking for a way to separate our spirit from God.

We can never take a break or vacation from allowing Jesus to work in our lives. If we feel we need a break, we may need to examine that and bring it to the Lord.

Our best efforts will come out our living in the Spirit, and our opportunities to serve will not always be convenient to our busy schedule. And most times it won’t come the way we think it will.

Our part…

“Stand firm against him…” – We don’t need to run, we have the Creator of the universe living in us.

“Be strong in our faith” – With Jesus’ center in our hearts, the One who conquered the grave, if we center our will to be in line with His will for us, we can move mountains.

And we’re not alone. We stand shoulder to shoulder, every week with believers who are facing the same challenges. We are there to support, edify, encourage each other. We are not “to neglect the assembly”.

‘Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.’ Hebrews 10:24-25

Heavenly Father, give me the faith and courage to “stand firm” and press into You and my brothers and sisters, in Christ, in the middle of this battle that will not end until You return and take me home. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen!! 🙏❤️
